It is the little things that make a difference at the Archer Hotel New York. Modern travelers have come to expect standard hotel amenities such as coffee makers, robes, slippers and even turndown service. At the Archer, they’ve raised the bar. Recognizing that their guests don’t want commonplace, they have added exceptional touches that make an ordinary hotel stay extraordinary.

Everyone knows location is everything. This is especially true in New York City. The Archer Hotel sits squarely in midtown Manhattan making makes it easy for guests to get uptown or buzz downtown posthaste. The Theater District, Fifth Avenue, and Times Square are all within walking distance.
The Archer is also within a shadow’s distance of the Empire State Building. You can book a room with a view of this iconic skyscraper. You will be able to lay in bed and see it each night through the room’s floor-to-ceiling windows.
The Coffee
These days at the bare minimum every hotel room has a coffee pot. Keurig machines have become the defacto standard. The Archer Hotel ups their game by taking this amenity one step further. In an attempt to make improve your morning cup of joe, or maybe just your morning in general, they have Nespresso machines en each room and suite. If you enjoy a hot cup of coffee before you shower, you will know this is an absolute delight.
The Turndown Service
Who doesn’t enjoy turndown service? It is always nice to come back to your room in the evening to find the shades drawn, the bed made and a little something special on your pillow. Each night the Archer Hotel NYC incorporates locally curated treats into their nightly turndown service. Guest will find notes wishing them sweet dreams with words of encouragement live a little. Slide back the door to reveal a shiny black and white subway tiled bathroom where the lights come on automatically. A real plus for anyone who gets up in the middle of the night. The large walk-in shower is stocked with great smelling, all natural Malin + Goetz toiletries. A pile of opulent Frette towels and adorable his and hers slippers are tucked into the vanity. My husband and I have had the privilege of staying in a lot of hotels, which means we’ve seen our fair share of hotel bathrooms. I can safely say the Archer NYC is a real standout.
The Food
Charlie Palmer Steak, one of midtown Mahattan’s best restaurants, is located right in the Archer Hotel NYC. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and brunch on the weekends. If you aren’t looking for a full meal you are welcome to order light bites and small plates in the Foyer Bar or from the room dinning menu.
If you are just looking for a drink and perhaps some snacks to share, take the elevator stright up to the 22nd floor. There you will find the Archer’s rooftop bar. Spyglass is has breathtaking views of the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings along with an excellent cocktail menu.
With superior amenities and fantastic service, this boutique hotel has earned a top spot on my list of places to stay next time I am in town.
