Meet Dana

Dana Freeman

Dana credits her Grandmother for inspiring her love of travel and travel writing.

Dana credits her Grandmother for inspiring her love of travel and travel writing. While visiting almost every country in the world, her Grandma chronicled her travels in handwritten journals.

As a young girl, Dana’s Grandmother took her on her first cruise. At the age of thirteen, Dana accompanied her on a business trip to Greece. After that, Dana became her Grandma’s regular travel companion seeing much of the world together. On their last trip, they sailed out of Venice on a cruise for her 96th birthday!

Dana is addicted to travel and always enjoys visiting new locations. She began her travel writing career in 2010 exploring properties her home state of Vermont. She quickly broadened her coverage to include North America, Mexico, Europe and beyond.
