Today, I had the incredible opportunity to ‘Walk with the Giants.’ Alongside their owners (Mahouts) we took a stroll with these majestic creatures as they enjoyed a buffet of tall grasses and a quick dip in the river. And to top it off, we hand-fed them figs for dessert!

Exciting life update! I have started a new job as the Director of Events at @junaprcommunications a full-service communications, public relations, and event management firm. This position will have me planning President's Club sales incentive trips and corporate retreats to amazing locations like the @fsanguilla and @rosewoodlittledixbay

And my travel writing adventures aren't going anywhere. I'll still be packing my suitcase regularly and writing stories about fabulous luxury destinations and small ship cruises for my favorite publications.

Lucky for me, I took a cooking class at the hotel where we learned how to make this traditional Italian oven baked bread. Delizioso!

Checking out the newest hotel in my home town. @blindtigerburlington just opened in May and is already attracting guests from all over who appreciate art and sustainability, and who want to embrace Burlington’s culture and local vibe. Furnished with an eclectic mix of mid century modern pieces, antiques and bold artwork, you feel like you are staying in at a friend’s house rather than hotel. They want you to feel at home. I certainly do.

I loved views of the European countryside from the top deck of the @riversidecruises MS Mozart, but you have to swipe right to see just how glamorous she is on the inside too because as far as river cruise ship go, she is a stunner. Totally luxurious with high-end decor and finishes throughout the ship.

The top deck is one of the best spots on @riversidecruises Mozart. It is the perfect spot to hang out and read as we spend the day cruising to the Iron Gates, a spectacular gorge on the Danube River.

The Mozart is double the width of regular river cruises. Not only is there a ton of space, there is a bar, a grill, and big screen TV. The furnishings are the absolutely nicest I have ever seen on a river cruise and are super comfortable too.
